Job Description

Chesterton Academy of Atlanta is seeking a talented and dynamic full-time Humanities teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. Part-time options may also be available.

The successful candidate will be able to teach in the following subject areas: Philosophy, Latin, and Euclidean Geometry. A bachelor's or master's degree in one or more of these fields is required. Previous teaching experience is preferred, as well as experience in and passion for Catholic classical education.

The candidate must be a practicing Catholic and be willing to make an Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium and a Profession of Faith. Candidates must demonstrate excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, and possess a track record of contributing to the vision and mission of an apostolic and educational enterprise.

In addition to their teaching responsibilities, faculty Chesterton Academy of Atlanta participate in the House system, which is designed to promote character and virtue, and to help students grow in holiness. Faculty members are required to attend Mass with the entire student body, and they assist in leading spiritual retreats and school activities.
