Job Description

Position:

High School Art Teacher - Part Time

Requirements:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in art is required. Previous experience teaching art.
- Experience in and passion for Catholic classical education.
- Must be a practicing Catholic and willing to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium and Profession of Faith to the Catholic Church.
- Demonstrated excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
- Track record of contributing to the vision and mission of an apostolic and educational enterprise.

Qualifications Participate in the House system to promote character and virtue.
- Assist in leading spiritual retreats and school activity.
- Three to five years of teaching experience is preferred.
- Experience in and passion for Catholic classical education.
- Demonstrated excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
- Track record of contributing to the vision and mission of an apostolic and educational enterprise.

Responsibilities:
In addition to their teaching responsibilities, all faculty at Chesterton Academy participate in the House system, which is designed to promote character and virtue, and to help students grow in holiness. Faculty members attend daily Mass with the entire student body and assist in leading spiritual retreats and school activities.
