Southmost Drywall is a leading commercial drywall, framing, insulation, stucco, and EIFS contractor specializing in complex healthcare, hospitality, and commercial projects. We are seeking Project Managers at all levels (Assistant PM, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager) to join our growing team across multiple locations in Florida.

What You’ll Do

As a Project Manager at Southmost Drywall, you will play a vital role in planning, coordinating, and executing projects from preconstruction through closeout. Depending on your experience level, your responsibilities may include:

• Managing project schedules, budgets, and scopes.

• Coordinating with clients, general contractors, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

• Leading project teams and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.

• Reviewing contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

• Monitoring costs, labor productivity, and material procurement.

• Supporting field operations through site visits and progress tracking (including OpenSpace.ai and Plexxis ERP systems).

• Preparing and processing pay applications, lien releases, and subcontractor billings.

• Driving projects to successful completion—on time, within budget, and with outstanding client satisfaction.

Qualifications

We are hiring for all levels of project management. Titles and responsibilities will be matched based on experience.

Assistant Project Manager:

• 1–3 years of experience in construction (internship or entry-level roles accepted).

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Project Manager:

• 3–7 years of project management experience, ideally in drywall, framing, or commercial construction.

• Proven ability to manage projects $500k–$10M+.

• Familiarity with construction software (Plexxis, OnCenter, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).

• Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Senior Project Manager:

• 8+ years of experience managing large-scale commercial projects ($10M+).

• Expertise in contracts, scheduling, cost controls, and subcontractor management.

• Ability to mentor junior staff and lead multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong client relationships in healthcare and commercial construction sectors a plus.
