Operational Risk Scenario Analysis Intern (Budapest)

Are you interested in operational risk topics like cyber-attacks, reporting errors, thefts and many more? As a member in our team, you will be at the centre of our business.

Operational Risk(OR) Scenario Analysis Team provides support to coverage officers in timely management of operational risk scenario workshops as well as calculation of scenarios, such as Cyber Attacks, Business Disruption Events or Transaction Errors and many more. The team also supports framework improvements, capital calculationsand helps in the management of OR applications used to run Scenario Analysis Program.

This current opportunity will give you an insight in how banks assess tail risks, manage capital and risk for regulatory and business purposes. You will be able to work in a flexible work arrangement, 20-40 hours per week.

You will:

- Contribute to the firmwide Scenario Analysis Program

- Produce exploratory data analysis on operational risk data

- Establish the relationship between driver and loss impact

- Identify scenario storylines and measure associated loss impact

- Partner collaboratively with other groups in the development of Scenario Analysis technology

- Design visual representation of data and results

You have:

- Ongoing Universitystudies and interest in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Business

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power Point

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Good command of spoken and written English

- Collaborative / Team player mindset - ability to prioritize and work effectively with colleagues to meet a common goal

- Interest to study identification of operational risk, measuring potential losses, managing risk, method of capital modelling, natural language processing
