We are seeking a motivated Business Analyst / Data Governance Analyst to support our enterprise-wide data modernization efforts. In this role, you will play a key part in advancing our data governance framework, enhancing data quality and compliance, and enabling the adoption of modern cloud-based data platforms.

In the Corporate Services division, we empower our businesses by creating collaborative workplace solutions and commercial services that enhance the employee and client experience, while optimizing the value of our sourcing and third-party lifecycle to enable the Firm to do-and-win business. This is a Director level position within the Business Unit Management which performs business management/CAO functions such as headcount management, financials, people processes, executive communications, and strategic support

What you'll do in the role:

  • Support the development and implementation of data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity, compliance, and availability throughout the modernization effort

  • Assist with data governance initiatives, including data cataloging, data lineage, and metadata management using tools such as Collibra

  • Serve as a liaison between business and technology teams to ensure data-related business requirements are clearly defined, communicated, and prioritized

  • Identify and help resolve data-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of data accuracy, completeness, and consistency

  • Support master data management and data quality requirements in partnership with functional data owners

  • Create and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, data lineage, and data flow diagrams

  • Collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, and governance teams to develop metrics and dashboards for data quality and compliance

  • Contribute to the development and support of data governance program strategies, roadmaps, and project plans

  • Participate in the development and maintenance of data ontologies, taxonomies, and semantic models to ensure consistency and interoperability

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Data Quality

  • Hands-on experience with data governance, data management, data quality, and data cataloging tools (e.g., Collibra)

  • Strong knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation.

  • Experience with database management systems (IBM DB2 preferred) and cloud data platforms (Snowflake a plus)

  • Familiarity with data lineage, metadata management, and master data management

  • Understanding of data ontologies, taxonomies, and semantic modeling in enterprise environments

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and change management leads

  • Experience with business intelligence tools, automation platforms, and AI/ML use cases is a plus

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
