This department provides service support to participants with inquiries related to their employer stock benefit plans including assistance with transactions as well as education & guidance on wealth management products and services. Participant access to 24 / 5 live support with dedicated multi-lingual service coverage.
Position Summary:
The Team Manager will be expected to hold team members accountable for the service delivered to stock plan participants and will be expected to delegate responsibilities that lend to the career growth of the team. Additionally, the Team Manager will oversee the team members and assure they meet targets for daily, weekly, monthly, and annual service level obligation; work with line of business management in coordinating team meetings, compliance training and preparation of performance reviews.
Role Differentiators:
- Managers are responsible to drive performance, handle HR matters, and coach Participant Relationship Managers (PRMs) to results.
- Support both domestic and international equity compensation plans designed by corporate clients for Morgan Stanley at Work (MSAW).
- Proactive service outbound program centered around participant journey touch points (e.g., merger/acquisition, upcoming vest, recently separated, cash balance from stock plan sale).
- Highly specialized skill set to support multiple platforms for MSAW participants.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage, coach, and guide a team of PRMs – driving opportunities for and championing the professional development of team members.
- Set and manage team standards around attendance, performance metrics, and service quality.
- Support PRMs in meeting core KPIs and referral goals.
- Actively seek opportunities to improve service levels, prioritizing the delivery of world-class service to all participants; take a proactive approach in contributing to the success of the team through process improvement and information sharing.
- Lead and manage multiple projects, teams, budgets-determining opportunities for improvement and creating practical and comprehensive implementation plans to drive change across the organization.
- Identify complex risks early and develop actionable mitigation plans.
- Partner with varying levels of management and stakeholders to concisely explain complex issues and garner leadership support.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Registrations: SIE, Series 7, Series 63, Mass Registration, Trader Certification, Series 9/10.
- Minimum Years of Experience: 2+ years.

- Broad understanding of the Financial Services Industry.
- Excellent communication skills; strong written and oral executive-level communications skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects and timelines and their associated budgets at once, ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills an attention to detail.
