The Global Intelligence Organization:
The Implementations Specialist plays a lead role in delivering our Global Intelligence and Tax products and services to our current and prospective clients. The role requires development into a subject matter expert in global tax and tax mobility for global share plans and an expert in Global Intelligence and Shareworks tax tools. The role focuses on relationship services for new and existing clients, implementing multi-national clients on our suite of product offerings, and the opportunity to support our sales and internal teams across the business as well as the development of our product.
Our ideal candidate is technically savvy, with strong communication skills and likes to work through challenges. You have a passion for global tax compliance, and tax mobility specifically. A knowledge of employee share plans and Shareworks would be beneficial. You have a deep belief in team success, a willingness to adapt to continuous change, and a desire to take ownership over responsibilities. You also have a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders.
The Implementations Specialist:
- Become an expert in understanding of the Global Intelligence Platform and Shareworks tax tool functionality to support clients’ share plan compliance.
- Implement new clients as per their contracted services and products – including working closely with clients to understand their needs, rules and policies, and implement their sites to accurately reflect them.
- Serve as the first point of contact when onboarding new clients and provide training, which includes: explaining product functionalities and capabilities, demonstrating product set up and educating on to how to maximize benefits from using the platform.
- Feed client requirements and market trends to the Vice President of Implementations so that they can communicate those trends to the Development team for addition into the Shareworks development roadmap to ensure Shareworks remains a disruptive force with leading technology in the regulatory, compliance, and tax space.
- Client relationship management by answering general queries from clients on the use of the platform within the time frame outlined in our service level agreements.
- Collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure full understanding of tax legislation, tax rules and mobility rules around the globe.
- Use knowledge of tax legislation, tax policies and mobility rules to build on and refine information on the Global Intelligence Platform and in Shareworks.
- Share knowledge and expertise both with colleagues and with professional contacts through participation and/or attendance in industry events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or similar area of focus.
- Qualified lawyer or accountant desirable but not required.
- Highly tech-oriented person capable of understanding complexities of Software as a Service (SaaS).
- Practical experience, preferably in financial services, tax industry or equity compensation.
- Fluency in both oral and written English is required; additional spoken and written languages are an asset.
- Knowledge of Shareworks an asset, particularly configuration and client implementation.
- Team player mentality and place a high value on building strong relationships.
- Process focused, organized, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple client projects at one time.
- Comfortable delivering effective presentations to a variety of audiences at all levels across different media and deploying differing styles.
- Demonstrated competency with common technology and technical concepts, including: Software as a Service (SaaS), Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Shareworks is an asset.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment which includes ongoing learning and training opportunities.
- Desire to contribute to the growth of the business, our platform and our user’s experience.
