About Firmwide AI
The Firmwide Generative AI Team at Morgan Stanley is a dynamic and innovative department that serves as a center of AI enablement for the firm. The team is responsible for deploying advanced systems that utilize generative artificial intelligence to optimize business processes. The team oversees governance and control measures to ensure the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies. The team is committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and provide education on AI technologies to other departments across the Firm.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced technical Business Analyst to join our Firmwide AI team. As the bridge between technology and business strategy, you will play an important role in driving access to our GenAI projects and programs. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee project milestones, and contribute to the growth of innovative AI solutions.
- Assist with using GenAI tools and processes to improve an internal Knowledge Management platform used by US-based financial advisors and support professionals
- Understand product vision, strategy, roadmap, and evolution of the content platform to help the team execute on key deliverables
- Testing and Evaluation: Understand risk-related testing requirements for GenAI projects, help design and execute testing and evaluation plans, document results and create slides for presentation as needed.
- GAI Prompt Testing and Reporting. Develop, test and annotate prompts for our GenAI products and functionality.
- Quality Assurance: In-sprint testing of newly developed features and functions.
- Strategic Project Management: Assist in leading project planning, execution, and monitoring ensuring deliverables are met within scope and timeline.
- Roadmap Ownership: Collaborate on defining and managing product vision, strategy, and roadmaps to support firmwide key initiatives.
- Backlog Management: Prioritize features based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
- Execution: Write clear user stories and help lead planning, testing, and release cycles. Continuously work to improve the efficiency of the development process. Assist Domains with strategic site redesigns.
- Collaboration: Partner with developers, testing team and stakeholders (across Firmwide organizations, UX design, Analytics) to understand and develop solutions to end-user needs.
- Industry Best Practices: Stay abreast of industry best practices by conducting competitive analysis and market research to understand digital and AI best-in-class solutions to deepen digital engagement.
- Assist with front end Web development and possibly Generative AI Agent and GPT creation.
Qualifications/Skills Required or Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in a business setting
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Understanding of AI concepts and tools, the ability to author and test prompts for AI Models
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems, especially Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- A well-developed eye for User Experience Design and Figma skills
- Experience with Agile Scrum Methodology and Ceremonies
- Expertise with using the JIRA tool
- Excellent PowerPoint presentation building skills, the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
- Working familiarity with Excel and Visio.
- Ability to thrive in a face-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
- Passion for innovation and a commitment to staying updated in the latest advancements in AI technologies and training methods.
- Financial Services Industry experience (preferred)
