Asset Management Specialist: Network Operations

The Network Automation and Tooling Team works on multiple products and projects in a global organization to facilitate the work of network operations and to improve the stability of the Firm’s global data and voice network. The team's responsibility includes Engineering, Integration and Development and Operations of Network Configuration Management, Network Monitoring, Network Security and Network Packet Inspection Tools across both Vendor Made Solutions (Cisco, HPNA-Microfocus / SevOne / Broadcom-Spectrum / Ansible / Forward Enterprise / cPacket / Corvil) and many in-house developments.

The Network Automation and Tooling Team has a requirement for a full-time member to assist their global team in the Budapest office.

This is an Asset Management Specialist position at Associate level, which is part of the job family responsible for driving innovation, developing technology roadmaps, and providing vision and strategic direction to align technology initiatives with long-term business objectives, fostering a culture of excellence, growth and transformation across the organization.

What you'll do:
-Focus on proactive measures and work with automation teams in order to help automate the process and business insight teams to streamline the reporting (30%)
-Establish timelines, monitor progress, drive for completion in meeting due dates and escalate as required. Establish reporting and transparency for senior management. (30%)
-Project/Process coordination to help drive and streamline the voice and data asset management process. (25%)
-The candidate is required to manage and track the Data Wiping and Destruction Process across all ENS managed equipment. (10%)
-This role requires a person with technical savvy of various voice platforms and has understanding of the voice and data technologies and various platforms. (5%)


What you'll have:
-Asset management lifecycle base knowledge with project management influence
-Information Technology with process/project management experience
-Prior experience dealing with asset management, inventory systems, data wiping and destruction process would be preferred.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-Strong with Microsoft Office
-Efficient with SharePoint
-Self-starter and results driven
-Excel, Powerpoint, Splunk, Linux, Python, Shell/Perl Scripting
-ServiceNow and Jira experience preferred


You might also have:
-Experience with Avaya, Cisco, and other telephony / networking systems
-Process-driven with strong attention to detail and organization skills
-Project Management Skills
