We’re seeking someone to join our team as Scrum Master/Business Analyst in Mumbai. The candidate will join a team as a Business Analyst/Scrum Master, responsible for supporting existing applications within the Legal and Compliance space. They will act as a liaison between business clients and the development team, with a specific focus on developing Assurance & Legal Applications.

This is Director Position that analyzes business processes, identifies needs, and establishes requirements to enhance efficiency and productivity through a blend of business acumen and analytical skills.

What you’ll do in the role:
As a Business Analyst, they will be responsible for working with the stakeholders to analyze business needs, recommend an optimal solution, and author requirements documentation. In addition, they will be working with the technology team to facilitate communication of client-specific business rules, processes, requirements and requests. The team will operate as an agile squad within the department and work with the product owners on identifying and prioritizing the work to maximize the value delivered through our modernization initiative (devOPS, Automation, SDLC processes).
As a Scrum Master, they will work within a super-fast paced environment, in an agile technical delivery squad. They will perform the Scrum Master responsibilities including running the daily stand ups and other Agile ceremonies. The ideal candidate should have the skills listed below but in addition should be a self-driven, dedicated individual who works well in a team and thinks and acts strategically. When faced with a problem, the candidate should be able to ask questions and leverage the skills and expertise of those around them.
Responsibilities:
Provide business analysis coverage for the New Product Approval Platform initiative.
Translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
Promote Agile culture, values, behaviors, and principles across business, development and testing organization.
Work closely with Product Owners, other scrum masters, business analyst and QA to progress along squad agenda
Plan and conduct agile meetings/ceremonies e.g. daily stand up, product demos, retrospectives
Review and manage backlog and in-progress items to ensure the latest work status is captured and updated as appropriate
Maintain team metrics and report project statuses (e.g., velocity/burn down charts, financial status, issues/risks, etc.) on a regular basis to Product Owner, and to senior stakeholders
Take ownership to drive through resolutions of issues or blockers, coordinate directly with other development/product teams on inter-dependencies or through scrum-of-scrum ceremony
Monitor team performance, balance workloads, and identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance team efficiency
Perform business and data analysis, assess current state, define target state operating model, perform feasibility analysis, define roadmaps and implementation plans
What you’ll bring to the role:
5+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst/Scrum Master role within a technical delivery squad
Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and
translate them into application and operational requirements.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Capable of collaborating effectively across a variety of
IT and Business groups, across regions, roles and able to interact effectively with all levels
Excellent relationship management, communication, teamwork, and influence skills; ability to operate at senior levels in both written and verbal communications.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Ability to influence decisions/mindsets
Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to identify where focus is needed and bring clarity to business objectives, requirements and priorities
Bachelor’s degree in a related field-Relevant and substantial work experience with business requirements definition and management (end to end), structured analysis, process design, and use case documentation
