Python Engineer - Cybersecurity

We're seeking someone to join our team as a Python Engineer in Cyber Data Risk & Resilience.
In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Python Engineer role at Director level, which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support business needs.

What you'll do in the role:
- Communicate regularly with product leads across the technology organization and discuss opportunities for improvement to existing and future technology solutions.
- Work with peer architects and engineers to deliver data protection tooling, focused on the encryption and post-quantum encryption spaces
- Assist with technical document creation and working group oversight
- Assist with product evaluations installing, configuring, testing, and documentation of products
What you'll bring to the role:
- Ability to effectively manage multiple functions or guide junior staff and initiatives.
- Advanced understanding of business line and discipline with some knowledge of competitive environment and other disciplines.
- At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Experience of developing in Python or other language
- Experience with relational databases or NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of data encryption topics
- Proficiency in Linux or Unix variant
- Experience in drafting documentation, including technical documents and meeting material
