This is a DevOps Engineer position at Director level, which is part of the job family responsible for managing and optimizing the technical environment and
end-user experience across various workplace technologies, ensuring seamless operations and user satisfaction across the organization.

The team owns a large number of employee facing and backend applications that are used by all Firm employees during their day-to-day activities, including but not limited to global software distribution and configuration, various management systems for the Firm’s virtual environment, operating system testing tools, and operating system deployment tooling.

What you’ll do in the role:
-As a DevOps Engineer (Site Reliability Engineer), a successful candidate is going to be responsible for hands-on (script) development and (software) deployment. The candidate will be part of a wider team, with stakeholders located all around the world, including Montreal, New York, Budapest, Shanghai, Hong Kong, or Tokyo
-The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the infrastructure where business critical services & functionalities are hosted and will be expected to cover the entire lifecycle of the software through testing till deployment into production
-The team is embracing Agile and DevOps, hence the candidate will be expected to demonstrate continuous improvement, and to take ownership of end-to-end delivery, quality, and business impact of their deliverables

What you’ll bring to the role:
-2+ years of experience with computer networks, supporting Windows 10/11 or Windows Server operating systems (familiarity with Active Directory and LDAP)
-Hands-on experience with PowerShell
-Knowledge on Continuous Integration systems (any of Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Team City, TFS)
-Troubleshooting skills
-Experience with SDLC, Agile, BDD and various levels of automated testing

You might also have (nice to have):
-.NET / ASP.NET and containers
-SCCM / System Centre Orchestrator
-Containerization background (like Docker, Podman)
-Configuration Management tools (DSC, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef)
