Institutional Consulting Services (ICS) is comprised of institutional client businesses providing enhanced client coverage, and greater efficiencies across the platforms supporting the institutional products. ICS includes $700+ billion of Institutional Assets. The Fiduciary Consulting Group (“FCG”), which was formed through the strategic combination of Hyas Group and Cook Street Consulting, is a specialized business that provides bespoke investment consulting and fiduciary solutions to institutional clients throughout the United States (including Puerto Rico) and Canada. Our clients include corporations, government entities, and non-profit organizations, and we specialize in assisting retirement plan sponsors (defined contribution/defined benefit/nonqualified), 529 plans, endowments, foundations, and trusts. Our status as a fiduciary is clearly documented in our consulting agreements.

We currently seek a full-time entry level Analyst to begin work immediately in our Greenwood Village, Colorado office.

The individual selected for this position will be responsible for ongoing investment due diligence, analysis and reporting to institutional clients, specifically to include:

  • Direct client & consultant support
  • Client performance reporting
  • Data integration & reconciliation with outside parties
  • Recordkeeping and investment expense evaluation & benchmarking
  • Client vendor management
  • Asset class, macroeconomic, and industry research

FCG’s Performance Reporting Department is responsible for supporting our consultants with client relationships. We are looking for an ambitious individual who is interested in a long-term career in the investment consulting industry.

  • Professional and Personable – The vast majority of our new business comes through referrals. Our reputation is one of the greatest assets we possess. A successful candidate must be comfortable interacting and presenting in different environments, such as with clients and investment managers.
  • Ambitious – We are a growing independent boutique with around 35 full-time employees. We are looking for someone with a long-term interest in Cook Street and in growth opportunities in one or more of our business divisions (research, consulting, operations, reporting), as well as across the broader Morgan Stanley organization.

Experience and Skill Set:

  • Undergraduate degree required. Applicants with a strong interest in pursuing a career in the financial services industry, regardless of educational background, are encouraged to apply.
  • Ideal candidate for this position will have 0-5 years of previous experience in a similar role within the investment or consulting industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
  • Experience with investment and financial analysis platforms such as Bloomberg, eVestment, and Morningstar Direct is preferred
  • Desire to progress towards the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation (if it has not already been attained).
  • Ability to work 40 + hours when business needs dictate

Salary range for the position: $57,000 and $110,000 per year. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
