Profile Description

We’re seeking someone to join our team as AEM Java Fullstack Lead will be a part of our Investment Management team, to will play a key role in helping transform how Morgan Stanley operates.

Investment_Management

In the Investment Management division, we deliver active investment strategies across public and private markets and custom solutions to institutional and individual investors.

IMIT App Dev

IMIT provides industry-leading strategies and solutions to enable business growth and deliver best in class functions to Morgan Stanley’s Investment Management business.

Software Engineering

This is Vice President position that develops and maintains software solutions that support business needs.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Communicating and collaborating skills with technical and non-technical teams.

  • Full-stack development and design of software components.

  • Designing the strategies and doing Project Management.

  • Leading and guiding the team members.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Expert-level experience in AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) design and development

  • 15+ years of experience as an AEM developer

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical teams

  • Full-stack development and design of software components

  • Proficient in web technologies across client/server-side (JS, CSS, HTML5), web infrastructure including web/app server/load balancing etc., caching/compression/security over web, content distribution network, web usage analytics.

  • Expert-level experience in Java (8 or above) and object-oriented design and development

  • Working knowledge of relational database design and development (SQL, Sybase)

  • Working knowledge of Unix bash scripting and/or Python

  • Have knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum)

  • Good with DevOps and CI/CD pipeline

  • Financial Services industry experience will be considered an advantage.


Skill Set:

  • Knowledge of Full Adobe suite (Expertise in AEM 6.4 or above & Adobe Analytics)

  • Web Technologies: React, HTML5, CSS, JS, Bootstrap, jQuery, AJAX,

  • Java 8 or above, Maven, Gradle, REST, Spring Boot

  • Scripting: Python

  • Database: Postgres, Sybase or SQL Server

  • Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, IntelliJ


Good to have:

  • Agile methodology – Preferably Scrum

  • DevOps and CI/CD pipeline

  • Cloud hands-on experience – Public cloud: AWS or Azure
