We’re seeking someone to join our team as Test automation engineer/Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to work in an Agile development team.

Institutional Securities_Technology

Institutional Securities Technology (IST) develops and oversees the overall technology strategy and bespoke technology solutions to drive and enable the institutional businesses and enterprise-wide functions. IST’s ‘clients’ include Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Investment Banking, Research, Prime Brokerage and Global Capital Markets.

PWM Asia Tech

Private Wealth Management Asia Technology (PWM Asia Tech) is responsible for providing front to back technology services to businesses that manage the Firm's high-net-worth clients in Asia and Australia, managing the technology platform that covers customer on-boarding, order management, on-going client service and reporting.

This is Director position that develops and maintains software solutions that support business needs.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Automation Expertise: Leverage your hands-on experience in API and UI an test automation using Java, Python, and SQL to develop and maintain high-quality automation scripts.

  • Testing Concepts and Strategy: Apply thorough understanding of testing concepts, create test plans, develop test strategies, and build automation frameworks.

  • Leadership: Lead by example and build high-performing teams. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence.

  • Team Transformation: Transform the team by enhancing the culture, strengthening processes, increasing test coverage, and promoting the right use of automation tools and innovative practices.

  • Communication and Collaboration: Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Problem Solving: Demonstrate a sense of ownership, accountability, and flexibility with a strong focus on problem-solving.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • 6-10 years of career experience in automation engineering with a focus on API and Data test automation.

  • At least 6+ years of relevant work experience in capital markets.

  • Proficiency in Java, Python, and SQL.

  • Strong understanding of testing concepts, test planning, test strategy building, and STLC.

  • Proven leadership skills and experience in building and leading high-performing teams.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and the ability to solve complex problems.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in transforming teams and improving processes through automation and innovation.

  • Ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
