Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line support to end users responding to issues related to incidents and problem management governance for multiple applications, with the primary focus on triage leadership of all business-impacting incidents.

  • Understand and ensure compliance with the incident management and problem management policies and procedures.

  • Restore complex/major production incidents under tight service level agreements and pursuing root cause and problem resolution follow-up.

  • Provide operational Support of Network Perimeter Security technologies: Fortinet, Checkpoint, and Trend Micro.

  • Engage in technical areas of focus include but are not limited to firewall, network address translation, routing, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Fortinet and Checkpoint firewall platforms ensuring robust network security and compliance with industry standards.

  • Use Network Security Protocols Knowledge including IPSec VPNs, IDS/IPS, and SSL/TLS to secure data transmission and prevent unauthorized access.

  • Utilize Firewall Rule Management to develop, implement, and audit firewall rules and access control lists (ACLs) to ensure they align with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Utilize Incident Response and Triage to rapidly identify, analyze, and respond to security incidents, including conducting thorough triage to determine the severity and impact of incidents.

  • Utilize Root Cause Analysis and Ticket Management to perform comprehensive root cause analysis of network security incidents to identify underlying issues, implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence, and track issues within a ticket management system.

  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related and

  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.

  • Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:
