Job Summary:
This role is to support growing Oracle DB footprint due to Never Down, Risk compliance requirements and re-platforming efforts from Mainframe & Sailfish appliances. Role will provide 2nd shift support across multiple LOBs, Vulnerability Management SIAI and IAM compliance risk remediation and Support application releases and infra work for applications during off-hours before GBS comes online.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Application DBA support for all lines of business in 2nd shift in resolving INC tickets
- SME in troubleshooting golden gate related issues
- Support never down and risk remediation projects
- Infrastructure support for patching
- Part of team providing 24*7 support for Oracle, Postgre, SQL, AWS
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years’ experience Oracle, SQL server
- 10+ years’ experience capacity planning, performance tuning, storage management, back-up and recovery, HA solutions like data guard, Goldengate, RMAN etc
- Oracle Goldengate software in multiple versions of Oracle Software
- Oracle8i, 9i, 10g, 11r2, 12c,19c Real application cluster including data Guard, load balancing and failover, Goldengate
- Strong practical experience of ORACLE in a production RAC (ASM) environment (9i,10gR2, 11g, 12c, 19c) with various storage systems raw devices, ACFS, dbfs, ASM etc
