Summary:

Are you a strategic finance leader with a passion for turning numbers into narratives that drive business outcomes? We’re looking for a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to be the engine behind our forecasting, budgeting, and strategic financial insights.

As a key right-hand to the CFO, you'll lead company-wide financial planning and performance analysis — from rolling forecasts to dynamic dashboards and board-ready presentations. This role blends high-level strategy with hands-on execution, driving both insight and impact. You’ll build and lead a best-in-class FP&A team while shaping the future of our business.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of strategic and financial planning, including annual budgets, long-range plans, and rolling forecasts
• Develop and deliver recurring and ad hoc financial reports and dashboards, connecting operational KPIs to financial outcomes
• Analyze actual results vs. budget/forecast, identifying drivers of variance and recommending corrective actions
• Translate complex financial data into clear, concise narratives and visualizations that support key decisions.
• Work cross-functionally with senior leaders to evaluate new initiatives, investments, and operational strategies
• Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies aligned with business objectives
• Lead or collaborate in streamlining internal processes, enhancing coordination and developing efficiencies in FP&A processes
• Build and mentor a high-performing FP&A team focused on results and continuous improvement

Skills and Requirements:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or finance, with 4+ years leading teams
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; comfortable working with BI tools and financial systems
• Deep expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and business modeling

What will make you stand out:

• Experience in a private-equity-backed environment and leading board-level financial presentations
• MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent advanced certification
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and experience partnering with data and IT teams to improve planning tools and forecasting accuracy
• Skilled in developing dynamic dashboards and management reporting using KPIs
